Gov’t Disburses Rp66 Billion Incentive for 44,000 Non-Civil Servant Islamic School Teachers

Indonesiaseharusnya.com – Jakarta, The Government has announced it has started to disburse incentives for non-civil servant Islamic education teachers amounting to Rp66 billion for 44,000 recipients in all over Indonesia.

The incentive is additional salary for those who teach at uncertified schools and those who do not receive salary bonuses for teacher profession. The statement was made by Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas in Jakarta,Wednesday (17/11/2021).

“This incentive assistance is an affirmation from the Ministry of Religious Affairs for Islamic education teachers’ welfare,” Yaqut said, adding that the incentive also aims to improve the quality of teachers and education.

In the meantime, Ministry of Religious Affairs’ General Director’s Muhammad Ali Ramdhani said that the incentive will be distributed to non-civil servant Islamic education teachers at primary schools (SD), junior high schools (SMP), senior high schools (SMA), vocational schools (SMK), and special schools at all levels. Every recipient, Muhammad Ali added, will received Rp1.5 million exclude tax. Based on Information and Administration System for Religious Education Teachers (SIAGA), the criteria of the recipients are as follows:


Non-Civil Servant Islamic education teachers who still teach at pre-schools (TK), special primary schools (SD/LB), special junior high schools (SMP/LB), and special senior high schools or vocational schools (SMK) ;

Non-Civil Servant Islamic education teachers who have registered on SIAGA from March 2021;

Non-Civil Servant Islamic education teachers who are not recipients of salary bonuses for teacher profession;

Non-Civil Servant Islamic education teachers who have Educator’s Unique ID Number (NUPTK) ;

Non-Civil Servant Islamic education teachers who have entered pension period yet; and

Non-Civil Servant Islamic education teachers who have teacher’s certificate that shows how long they are working as teacher.
